There is a typical, linear progression to pickup. What I have noticed is that if you skip the "steps" or jump the gun the set would likely not be successful.

General Daygame Progression

1. Approach
2. Hook Point
3. Qualification
4. Date Setting
5. Kino Escalation
6. Pull To Home
7. Comfort In Home
8. Pull To Room
9. Foreplay
10. Sex

General Nightgame Progression

1. Approach And Grab Her Attention
2. Opener And Start Talking Nonsense
3. Express Romantic Desire Implicitly
4. Hook Point
5. Kino Escalation
6. Bouncing Around The Venue
7. Rapport, Intimacy And Qualification For One To Two Hours.
8. Handling logistics
9. Pull Back Home
10. Foreplay
11. Sex

Typical Phases Of Pickup

1. Attraction Phase (Approach To Sex)
2. Rapport Phase (Making her comfortable around you, trusting you)
3. Pulling

The problem when doing rapport first is that you will become friendzoned. If you pull too early last minute resistance will happen. So always follow this sequence and do it with sufficient time.

Consent

When you escalate, look at her face. Implicitly she gives consent by smiling. You can also ask for permission just to be safe.

Escalation do not work if you do not achieve hook point. Realistically only 10% of the girls you open will reach hook point, even less if you're a begineer.

Hook Point

These are the telltale signs you have achieved hook point. If in 5 minutes, your answer to this is no, you need to move on to a different girl. You can achieve hook point anywhere between one second to 5 minutes.

1. You can tell she is clearly attracted to you
2. Her attention shifts to you
3. She becomes intrested in you
4. Let you touch her without flinching or resistance
5. She leaves and comes back to you
6. She qualifies herself
7. Gives you compliments
8. She laughs at the things you say that are not even funny
9. Cannot maintain eye contact
10. Follow you around, compliant
11. And many more....

Developing a sense of when you have achieved hook point is a skill itself. This is rather an intuitive process. Once you have arrived at hook point, you should almost escalate immediately to kino 1 or 2.

A Comment On 9s and 10s

9s and 10s get hit on so much that usually a cold approach is insufficient. The opportunity to date you is insufficient. This also means they take longer to hook and qualify. You typically need to offer addtional things during this process;

1. Value
2. Social Value
3. Status

Reflection And Improvement

1. Ask yourself "what went well?"
2. Ask yourself "what went poorly?"
3. What new diffrences, realizations, and distincitions you have made.

Conclusion

This is a nice framework to always keep in mind and apply. Practice doing the foundation well (earlier stages) compared to the later ones. Techniques have to be applied within this framework.
